Getting Started at Our Practice

Every new client begins with an initial appointment with a registered psychologist. During this first session, we will:

• Review consent forms and our clinic policies

• Discuss the background of your concerns

• For counselling/psychotherapy: Work together to set treatment goals and create a plan

• For psychological assessments: Determine whether assessment is needed and which specific services would be most helpful

Assessment Pricing

The assessment package prices listed on our pricing page are before taxes but do already include the cost of your initial appointment ($350). After your first session, we'll subtract this amount when calculating your remaining balance.

Payment Options

We accept credit card payments through our online booking system. If you don't have a credit card or prefer to pay by e-transfer for your initial appointment, please contact us at admin@halcyonpsychology.ca to arrange this.
